scattering is a through-composed symphonic poem that depicts the bookends of a day, the sunrise and sunset. The orchestration combinations presented in this work are meant to convey the different colours that shift over the horizon as the sun fills more and more of the sky. The scientific term for this colourful phenomena is called scattering because the molecules and small particles in the atmosphere change the direction of sun rays, causing them to scatter, hence the title of the piece.

For almost every piece I write, I build up a playlist of inspirations to get some ideas, here is the playlist I was listening to while writing my piece scattering.
